On the common oil rail, an oil pressure sensor, pressure limiting valve and flow limiter are installed. Since the microcomputer accurately controls the fuel pressure in the fuel rail, the fluctuation of the fuel supply pressure in the fuel system caused by changes in the diesel engine speed is significantly reduced (this is a major flaw of the traditional diesel engine). The amount of fuel injection only depends on the opening time of the injector solenoid valve.
